Rap artist NBA Youngboy, who has been arrested twice since being put on three years’ probation in August 2017 for a Baton Rouge shooting, is now being accused by a New Orleans man of taking part in a “violent attack” in South Carolina in December.
Carl Capers claims in a lawsuit that he was working as a disc jockey and in tour management for Baton Rouge native Kentrell Gaulden, who performs under the name NBA Youngboy, and another rapper at a Dec. 21 show in Florence, South Carolina, when both men punched and kicked him.
Capers alleges he suffered a cracked tooth, bloody face and injuries to his reputation within the entertainment industry. He is seeking damages.
